Certification Requirements

Mester Grønn works directly with factories and growers wherever possible to build strong relationships and gain first-hand insight into production processes.

Where we do not have direct control over our value chain, we require compliance with credible certification schemes that we know well and whose effectiveness is independently documented.

  • 100% of flowers and plants must be sourced from an FSI-compliant grower by 2030. In Norway, KSL compliance is sufficient.
  • 100% of flowers and plants sourced from risk countries (Amfori BSCI list), must have an FSI-approved social certification.
  • 100% of non-flowers must be sourced from factories complying to Amfori BSCI standard, with a minimum rating of C, or equivalent, by 2030. 90% of new suppliers must have a minimum rating of B.
  • 95% (at least) of goods for resale and packaging made from wood must be FSC certified or made from recycled wood.
  • Other relevant certification requirements for special product groups, materials etc. will be informed by the responsible purchaser.
